Trauma-informed IFS and Somatic Therapy for adults and couples
San Francisco Bay Area, CA | CIIS, M.A.
What do you want with your one wild, & precious life?
However you arrive, is where we will begin. I provide trauma-informed IFS and somatic therapy for individuals and couples in the San Francisco Bay Area. I will help you uncover the more beautiful and honest life that is waiting for you. Together, we’ll bring curiosity to your patterns, experience, and relationships. You will reconnect to the intuitive wisdom of your body, re-author your story, and learn how to hold yourself through the difficult moments. I offer a warm, honest, and compassionate space to re-experience yourself from a deeper perspective.
The first step is the hardest…admitting that something isn't working and needs to change.
My clients and I often work through:
Symptoms of anxiety, depression, and relationship issues
Early childhood wounding, and not good-enough parenting
Attachment issues, rigid/overporous boundaries, a loud, inner critic
Substance abuse and addictions—internet, porn, eating, scrolling
Psychedelic integration, and journey work
Complex and single incident trauma
Children of addicts, caretaker fatigue, codependency, and people-pleasing.
Navigation of polyamorous or open relationships
Grief and loss of a loved one, family member, and/or beloved pet.
How I Practice
Somatic Psychotherapy
Anxiety, restlessness, and perfectionism are usually signs that unprocessed emotions are stuck in your body.
Parts Work (IFS)
Parts work is a way of examining ourselves— how we navigate relationships, manage overwhelm, and protect ourselves from hurt.
Trauma-Informed Therapy
"Trauma is not the bad things that happen to you, but what happens inside you as a result of what happens to you." -Gabor Maté
Rumi
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
Carl Jung, founder of Depth Psychology
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
